AJ Swope, Fellow and Executive Director of Class 4 Winds & Renewables, was recently featured in the opinions section of the Amarillo Globe-News.  He argues that the potential failure by Congress to extend wind energy's Production Tax Credit (PTC) could be a detriment to current and future wind energy projects. 

The PTC provides tax incentives for owners of wind farms.  In the article, AJ states, "The American Wind Energy Association is projecting development could fall by 100 percent if action is not taken before the end of the year to guarantee the extension of the PTC".  You can read the full article by clicking here.
