Dr. Daniel Nielson is Director of the Political Economy and Development Lab at Brigham Young University and both a principal investigator and founder of AidData. He is an Associate Professor of Political Science at BYU. He received his PhD in international affairs from the University of California, San Diego in 1997. His scholarship focuses on international development, foreign aid, and international organizations. He is co-editor of Delegation and Agency in International Organizations (2006, Cambridge University Press), and he has authored articles in the American Journal of Political ScienceInternational Organization, Comparative Political Studies, andInternational Studies Quarterly, among other journals.
