Charles Wight

Charles Wight is a classically trained geographer whose broad interests lie in the appropriate use of geospatial technologies to advance the understanding of the relationships linking physical and social environments. He has worked in the private sector in Texas, non-profits in Peru and Brazil, academic research in Europe, and fieldwork in South America. He holds bachelor degrees in Geography and Philosophy and a Master’s in Latin American Studies from The University of Texas where his thesis investigated multi-variable vulnerabilities of hydro-electric dams in the Amazon Basin.
