A Conversation on Cybersecurity with Mr. Chris Krebs

POSTPONED – On Wednesday, January 26, the Strauss Center will welcome cyber-policy expert, Chris Krebs, for a conversation on cybersecurity. Mr. Krebs has unprecedented experience building coalitions to deal with critical security challenges. This talk will be a part of our Brumley Speaker Series.

Biography

Christopher Krebs is co-chair of the Commission on Information Disorder and co-chair of the Aspen Cybersecurity Group at the Aspen Institute, and a founding partner of the Krebs Stamos Group. He previously served as the first director of the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), overseeing efforts to manage risk to the nation’s businesses and government agencies, bringing together partners to collectively defend against cyber and physical threats, and pioneering the Rumor Control program, which countered election-related disinformation campaigns. Prior to CISA, Krebs served as assistant secretary for infrastructure protection at the Department of Homeland Security.
