Ms. Brooke Escobar provides research support to the CCAPS project on democratic governance and is a former graduate student of the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. Before joining the LBJ School, she worked as a Project Manager for AidData in Williamsburg, Virginia. Her work there focused on collecting, standardizing, and disseminating development finance information to support the larger goals of the AidData initiative. Ms. Escobar completed a BA in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration at Brigham Young University in 2009. Her research interests include international development and aid, national security policy, democracy, and terrorism.
