Jeff Baker is a Information Technology leader possessing a strong background in management consulting, cybersecurity, data management, and strategic project and application administration across multiple industries. Specializing in CIO/CISO advisory and project and program management, he has been a fractional vCIO/vCISO for a $2B E&P firm based in Houston, TX since 2018. Prior to his current position, he was a vCIO/Program Manager for a Texas-based utility company where he established an IT roadmap surrounding evaluating the application system architecture, network architecture, and hardware architecture. He was also a fractional vCIO/vCISO for an Arizona-based non-profit organization, an interim CIO for a mid-size construction company based in Houston, an interim CIO for an O&G-based integrated solutions company based in Houston, and an interim CIO for a midstream service company based in Dallas.

Throughout his professional and consulting career, Jeff has worked across a variety of industries including oil and gas, manufacturing, commercial construction, private equity, non-profit, and financial management.  In addition, Jeff is a serail entrepreneur having co-founded NB Business Solutions, Socium Solutions, and Sentinel Compliance.  He received his BA from the University of Texas at Austin, his MS MIS from the University of Houston at Clear Lake, and holds CISM and CMMC CCP certifications.
