Cassidy Winters is a law student in the class of 2027 at The University of Texas School of Law. She graduated from Webster University in 2019 with a Global Master’s of International Relations, where she studied in the Netherlands, Thailand, Austria, Ghana, and Switzerland. Before starting law school, Cassidy primarily worked in the international anti-human trafficking field. Her academic background and career experience inspired her interest in national security law, international criminal law, and cyber conflict. During law school, Cassidy has worked with the Supreme Court of Rwanda to use digital innovation to increase access to justice, participated in plea bargaining negotiations in Uganda, and is currently the Research Editor for the Texas International Law Journal.
