Rachel Markowitz is pursuing an MA in Global Policy Studies at the University of Texas at Austin and holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Texas at Dallas. Originally from Kansas, Rachel spent most of her adult life in Morocco, where she worked in international development and education. She recently interned with Search for Common Ground in Rwanda on projects related to conflict in the Great Lakes region of Africa.
