Dr. Jah Awarded Membership in the International Academy of Astronautics

Professor Moriba Jah, Lead of the Space Security and Safety Program at the Strauss Center and Associate Professor of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at the Cockrell School of Engineering, was recently named a member of the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA.) The IAA is “an independent organization of distinguished individuals elected by their peers for their outstanding contributions to astronautics and the exploration of space.” Dr. Jah was awarded this membership status in recognition of his years of distinguished work and research in the field of aerospace engineering. As a new “Academician,” Dr. Jah joins a community of prestigious space pioneers in common pursuit of “excellence in research and innovation for the benefit of humanity.”
