Benjamin Tardif

National Security Law Fellow

Ben Tardif is currently a 2L at The University of Texas School of Law and a National Security Law Fellow at the Strauss Center for International Security and Law. He received his M.A. in Defense and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College in 2024.  Hegraduated from Duke University in 2021 and worked in U.S. Congress for three years, finishing his time in Congress as a Professional Staff Member with the House of Representatives Oversight Committee. Ben is highly interested in the intersection between national security law and policy, specifically in terms of how it affects military conflicts around the globe in disputed territories like the Senkaku islands.
