Estevan R. Gonzalez is a 2L at the University of Texas School of Law and a National Security Law Fellow at the Strauss Center for International Security and Law. He earned his bachelor’s degree in government from the University of Texas at Austin and was selected as an Archer Fellow in which he served as a legislative intern for Congressman Vicente Gonzalez in Washington D.C. Following graduation, Estevan was selected as a White House intern for the Office of White House Fellowships and as a member of the Texas Law Pipeline Program. Estevan’s government experience has inspired his interest in national security law, particularly internet privacy, artificial intelligence, and broader foreign policy. Estevan also serves in board positions with the Chicano, Hispanic, and Latino Law Student Association (CHLLSA), the Hispanic Law & Policy Journal and is the President of the Texas Law Student Bar Association (SBA).
