Jared Baron Panares is a student at the University of Texas at Austin, currently pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. On campus, he’s a member of ISSS (Information & Systems Security Society) and participated in the brief Fall 2024 Cyber Scholar program. He currently works for the Information Security Office as an RSOC Security Student Analyst. After graduation, Jared plans to continue in the tech industry, focusing on cyber security and software engineering.

Away from work and academics, he likes to read literature, listen to R&B and indie, and play guitar. At the moment, he’s reading Human Acts by Han Kang.
