Surina Srivastava

Cybersecurity Clinic Student

Surina Srivastava is a senior at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in Mathematics on the actuarial science pathway. Her interest in the Texas Cybersecurity Clinic stems from the increasing cybersecurity risks facing small and large businesses alike. She is particularly drawn to the role cyber insurance can play in helping mitigate digital risk and hopes to explore how the field can evolve with more ethical and inclusive practices—especially to support small businesses.

This summer, Surina will be interning on the Health and Benefits team at Aon, where she will assist in actuarial consulting projects related to employee benefits. Outside of academics and work, she is involved in Kappa Delta sorority, enjoys playing intramural sports, and taking pilates classes around Austin.
