William Pershing

National Security Law Fellow

William Pershing is a law student in the class of 2026 at The University of Texas School of Law. He graduated from Wake Forest University in 2018 with a B.A. in Psychology. After graduation, William commissioned into the U.S. Army as an Armor officer. William spent five years leading a reconnaissance platoon both overseas at home. His time in the military was inspired his interest in national security law, foreign policy and the law of armed conflict. William is also currently a member of the Texas International Law Journal. Outside of school, William enjoys backpacking and cycling as well as spending time with friends and family.
