Arul is a senior studying Computer Science and Mathematics with a certificate in Applied Statistical Modeling at the University of Texas at Austin. His academic interests center on software engineering and machine learning. In his final year, he is broadening his technical expertise by exploring cybersecurity, mobile app development, and quantitative research. At the Strauss Center’s Texas Cybersecurity Clinic, Arul is eager to apply his skills to meaningful, real-world cybersecurity challenges while learning from hands-on experience.
Beyond the clinic, Arul serves as a Co-Tech Director for ATX Scioly, where he helps organize Science Olympiad tournaments for middle and high school students, and as a UGCA for CS 329E, where he teaches iOS mobile app development. In his free time, he enjoys staying active, spending time with friends, and immersing himself in new stories, whether through books or television.
