Collin Dufrene

Brumley Scholar

Collin Dufrene is a rising senior, triple majoring in Plan II Honors, International Relations & Global Studies, and Government, with minors in National Security & International Business and French Studies. In his time abroad, he learned diplomacy in Rome, was a Frenchman for a summer in Lyon, and witnessed firsthand the security situation in Israel and the Palestinian territories. In summer 2026, Collin is studying in Dakar, Senegal.

In Texas, Collin volunteered with Community First! Village to aid unhoused individuals, drafted legislation as a staff member in the Texas Legislature, and is involved with Catholic Diocese of Austin. A former Archer Fellow, J.J. Pickle researcher, Texas Intelligence Academy fellow, and Texas Civic Ambassador, Collin looks forward to tackling new, complex problems as a Brumley Scholar and student in the Texas Cybersecurity Clinic.
