Wesley is a senior in the Russian, Eastern European and Eurasian studies major. Despite being a proud Rhode Islander, he studied at St. Olaf, a small college in Minnesota, for two years before transferring to UT Austin.
At St. Olaf, Wesley developed a passion for the Russian language. His interest in exploring other Slavic languages as well as the cultures, histories, and international relations of post-Soviet countries led him to UT Austin. He has studied Russian abroad in both Kyrgyzstan and Armenia. At UT Austin, he rediscovered his love of statistics and is pursuing a minor in Statistics and Data Science. He is looking forward to expanding his interests through the cybersecurity clinic and helping local businesses and organizations with their cybersecurity.
Wesley is interested in music, movies and books, and enjoys spending his time in Austin at concerts, museums, and sporting events.
