Akash Maiti

Cybersecurity Clinic Student

Akash Maiti is an incoming sophomore pursuing a dual-degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Business Administration. He currently serves as a Regional SOC Analyst for the Information Security Office at UT Austin.

Active in HASH and ISSS, he is currently a member of the CCDC competition team, placing 5th at nationals last year. Furthermore, as a member of Texas Enactus, Akash is working with a medical startup aiming to help patients and doctors navigate illnesses. 

Outside of class, Akash enjoys watching F1, basketball, and occasionally playing the guitar.
