Anthony Florentino

Cybersecurity Clinic Student

Anthony Florentino is a junior currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Business at The University of Texas at Austin. He originally became interested in cybersecurity after he earned the Security+ and Network+ certifications. He spent last summer as an Operational Process (IT) Intern with Mr. Cooper, where he reviewed IT problem records, designed reporting processes, and supported change management initiatives. Previously, he was a Software Development Intern for Tyler Technologies, where he designed and updated automation programs to streamline compliance for training services. At UT, Anthony works as a Student SOC Analyst with the Information Security Office, and was previously a member of the Longhorn Band, where he played clarinet. 

Beyond academics, he is an Eagle Scout who enjoys giving back through community involvement and outreach. In his free time, he likes spending time with family, traveling, being outdoors, and listening to music. Anthony is interested in gaining practical experience and expanding his knowledge within the cybersecurity field.
