Eva White

Brumley Scholar

Eva White is a rising senior, triple majoring in International Relations & Global Studies, Government, and Russian, East European, & Eurasian Studies. She is also minoring in Russian and History, with a certificate in Security Studies. Outside of her studies, Eva is a member of the Texas Orange Jackets, the oldest female honorary service and spirit organization on campus and is an official host organization of the University of Texas. She also leads the Russia team on Project Tearline, a research initiative of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Eva has participated in the Clements Center for National Security’s London May term, the Intelligence Studies Project’s Texas Intelligence Academy, and the Embedded Scholars Program’s internship at the National Democratic Institute in Armenia.

As a Brumley Scholar, Eva hopes to explore great power competition in international civil nuclear investment and the relationship between energy security and democratic development. After graduation, Eva plans to pursue a career in the federal government.
