Cybersecurity Clinic Student

Hannah Ahn is a student at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering. She currently works with the Information Security Office as an RSOC Student Technician, gaining hands-on experience in cybersecurity.

Hannah’s interest in cybersecurity began through the CyberStart America program, where she earned National Cyber Scholar 2023 and National Cyber Scholar with Honors 2024, as well as the GFACT and GSEC certifications through scholarships. She has also led a team in CyberPatriot, developing leadership and technical skills in defensive security competitions.

After graduation, Hannah plans to pursue a career in cybersecurity, focusing on security operations and infrastructure security. Outside of academics and work, she enjoys learning Japanese, drinking boba, and spending time with friends and family.
