Stacy Saxon

Cyber Fellow, National Security Law Fellow

Stacy Saxon is an active-duty Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy JAG Corps and is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Cybersecurity Law at the University of Texas School of Law. She earned her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas, where she served as President of the National Security Law Society and Treasurer of Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity. Stacy also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Systems Management from Texas A&M University and graduated from the Naval War College with a Master of Arts degree in Defense and Strategic Studies, with a specialty in Irregular Warfare. She is licensed to practice law in Texas and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.  Stacy’s Navy career has included a variety of assignments, such as the Naval Justice School in Newport, Amphibious Squadron THREE in San Diego, Region Legal Service Office (RLSO) Southeast in Fort Worth, and the RLSO Southwest in San Diego. Upon completing her LL.M. in Spring 2026, Stacy will return to active service with the Navy fleet
