Cyber Fellow

Victor Chikezie is a Master of Laws candidate at The University of Texas School of Law, specializing in Cybersecurity Law. He currently serves as Co-chair of the Standards Committee at the Institute of Operational Privacy Design and Chief Legal Editor of the Privacy Wiki.

Victor began his career in Nigeria, where he practiced as a commercial dispute resolution attorney following his call to the bar in 2017. Since then, he has built a global legal-technical portfolio, focusing on digital security across both government and private sectors.

He is the founder of Datavance, a solutions firm that advises organizations on trust, automation, and government contract compliance. His commitment to access and equity in technology led him to launch LITEEd, a flagship initiative aimed at bridging Africa’s digital divide through technology enablement for education.

In addition to his academic and professional work, Victor tutors a US Privacy Law primer for IAPP certification candidates and authors a curated newsletter on cybersecurity and data privacy trends. Victor spends his spare time working on his first modern literature project, Spero Lucem.
