The National Security Career Event on September 10, 2019, will have representatives from U.S. military, intelligence, and national security agencies that will be available to students to discuss internship, part-time, and full-time employment opportunities. Confirmed participants include: CIA, FBI, DIA, NGA, DHS, NCTC, the State Department, Army Futures Command, U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), UT Army ROTC, Texas Army National Guard, and National Ground Intelligence Center. The event is co-sponsored by the Intelligence Studies Project, the Clements Center, and the LBJ School of Public Affairs.

If selected, candidates may be interviewed on-site or asked to schedule an interview on the following day. Some agencies are seeking to fill positions with recent UT graduates or students planning to graduate in December 2019/May 2020.
