The Air and Missile Warfare Manual: A Critical Analysis — Keynote Address by Amb. Henry Crumpton

The Robert S. Strauss Center for International Security and Law and the Texas International Law Journal invite you to The Air and Missile Warfare Manual:  A Critical Analysis beginning on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 5:00pm in the LBJ School’s Bass Lecture Hall.

The event will kick off with a keynote address by Ambassador Henry Crumpton, and continue the following day with four discussion panels on aspects of the Air and Missile Warfare Manual.

Henry A. Crumpton joined the Central Intelligence Agency as an operations officer in 1981 and served in several foreign field assignments, including two as Chief of Station.  He also held senior management positions in Washington, including a one-year assignment at the Federal Bureau of Investigation as Deputy Chief of the International Terrorism Operations Section.  As Deputy Chief of Operations of the CIA’s Counterterrorism Center, Ambassador Crumpton led the CIA’s Afghan campaign, 2001-02. 

Crumpton was sworn in as Coordinator for Counterterrorism at the Department of State with the rank of Ambassador-at-Large in 2005.
