Ben Rohrbaugh, a Fellow at the Central America and Mexico Policy Initiative (CAMPI) at the Strauss Center, has released a course on the history of Homeland Security on the Center for Homeland Defense and Security’s (CHDS) website. The course primarily focuses on the U.S. experience with homeland security but it situates the discipline within broader international forces that are shaping the operating environment and threats with which homeland security practitioners must contend.
