Stephanie Leutert, Director of the Central America and Mexico Policy Initiative (CAMPI), updated a model to better understand current migration dynamics and to estimate total numbers of unique individuals leaving their communities in Mexico and Central America. The model, including data through July of 2022, and the write up (from September) can be found under the Articles section here. The model will continued to be updated regularly.
