Dr. Jah Explains the Dangers of Space Junk to the Webb Telescope

In a recent interview, Professor Moriba Jah explains how space junk is endangering the James Webb Space Telescope. Dr. Jah is an Associate Professor of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at UT Austin and Lead of the Strauss Center’s Space Security, Safety, and Sustainability Program. Dr. Jah described his plan to deal with the growing space junk problem through Astriagraph, which uses telescopes around the world to track objects in or near Earth’s orbit.
