Dr. Sheena Greitens, Associate professor at the LBJ School of Public Affairs and Director of the Asia Policy Program at the University of Texas at Austin, recently published her new book entitled Politics of the North Korean Diaspora. 

The book examines how authoritarian security concerns shape diaspora politics by tracing the emergence of a global community of North Korean emigrants and outlines how the non-democratic ideals of the DPRK fundamentally structures diasporic politics.
