Jacob Cohen

Jacob Cohen is a sophomore pursuing a degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Cybersecurity. In addition to his academic pursuits, he is dedicated to supporting the local community and serves as a board member of Gear for Kids, a student-run non-profit organization that provides assistance to children within the foster care system. At UT, Jacob is a member of the Information & Systems Security Society, and he also plays the saxophone with the UT Saxophone Ensemble. His interests lie in the intersection of software development and cybersecurity, and he plans on pursuing a career that utilizes both fields to contribute to a safer digital future. In his free time, he enjoys programming, playing chess, and playing soccer. Jacob is part of the second cohort of the Cyber Clinic.
