Pranitha Kolli is a junior majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Business. With a keen interest in the convergence of business and technology from a security perspective, she leveraged her skills and knowledge as an IT Security Intern at General Data Tech. During this internship, Pranitha gained valuable insights into how a company’s cybersecurity posture evolves with its growth, and she actively contributed to internal audits and meticulous documentation of security tools to uphold data integrity and protect sensitive information. Additionally, Pranitha works with the Sanger Learning Center to provide supplementary instruction for data structures and introductory programming courses, supporting first-year Computer Science students in their academic journey.

Beyond academics and work, Pranitha is deeply involved in the university community. She is an active member of Women in Computer Science (WiCS), where she fosters inclusivity and mentorship, creating a supportive environment for fellow students. Additionally, Pranitha dedicates her time to Student Engineers Educating Kids (SEEK), guiding young learners through engineering projects. 

Outside of her academic and professional endeavors, Pranitha finds joy in taking long walks while listening to music and podcasts, spending quality time with family and friends, and indulging in reading and television.

With a strong interest in the convergence of business and cybersecurity, Pranitha aspires to make a meaningful impact in securing digital landscapes and ensuring the safety of sensitive information for organizations and individuals alike. As she enters her junior year, she is eager to explore new opportunities and challenges, working towards her goal of becoming a proactive advocate for technology-driven security solutions.
