Cybersecurity Clinic Student |

Victoria Chevallier is a rising senior, pursuing a major in Computer Science with a minor in Mandarin Chinese. Victoria is primarily interested in the intersections between cyber security and military defense. This past year, she worked with the U.S. Army Data Analysis Center to help develop a training workshop featuring Ettercap, a man in the middle attack software included in distributions of Kali Linux. Over the year, Victoria learned about various penetration testing technologies and the basics of the cyber security field. Outside of cyber security, she is also interested in data management and machine learning technologies. On campus, Victoria is involved with Alpha Phi Omega, an organization that encourages leadership, friendship, and service here at the University of Texas at Austin. After graduation, she plans to work full-time at an organization that focuses on cyber security to gain work experience before returning to school for a master’s degree in a related field. In her spare time, Victoria enjoys reading novels, cross-stitching, and taking care of plants.
